Alek is now a Two Year Old.  He's about 35.5 inches tall and almost 33 pounds.  He's quite rambunctious and speaks in phrases all the time.  He hates to leave a party early, and hasn't yet found a group of people that didn't seem like they could be new friends pretty quickly.

Alek likes lots of toys, but no real favorites beyond a day's attention.  Alek likes to play in playgrounds with slides and things to climb around.  And he likes to explore new places like the zoo or the beach.

He still doesn't like chocolate or sweets, but really likes garlic infused foods, spicy foods like curry dishes, and most Asian dishes.  And he eats a lot of fruits like grapes, bananas, strawberries, and blueberries.

       
Alek got a monkey costume for his birthday, with a tail and everything!  He decided that he wanted to wear it the next morning.
Then Alek discovered his new Thomas The Tank train set, a new favorite for the day.

   
It was just too much when Alek asked for a banana while he was wearing his monkey outfit.

   
Alek was intrigued by feeding the chickens at Rich & Karen's house whom we visited in January.  Joey (the puppy) was a huge attraction too.


Jeff's new backstop was a new challenge.  It was great for tossing rocks through, but kinda' misses the point a bit..

Jeff showed Alek how to jump across the gap in the L-shaped sofa.  He did it quite a few times, and made it pretty frequently.
We dubbed these "The Flying Squirrel" pictures.


Alek tried to chew on Joey's bone but Joey wasn't in a sharing mood.


Alek loves clementines.  He can polish off quite a few of them in a sitting - With glee!

Then Alek plays the same game with his Grandpa.


Alek got his very own motorcycle to match daddy's bike from his Grandpa!  It's a major milestone for both of them!!

       
Veronika brought Leo and Mikyo to visit with Alek and play in the pool.
Later we had dinner while the boys played in the other room together.  Caroline caught them in a snuggly pose.

   
I took Alek swimming on a bright sunny day.  Alek got too much sun, thus Caroline decided to get Alek a sun suit for swimming on bright sunny days.  Now he looks like an outtake from one of those kiddy shows he watches.

       
Alek makes a funny face while eating Spaghetti-Os.  It's a current favorite for dinner!
Alek can touch his nose with his tongue too. 
Alek has been growing lately.  He's almost 38 pounds now and about 37.5 inches tall.

Alek and Johnny are buddies at school.  Since Alek will be going to another school soon, they were spending some quality time together.

   
Making faces together with Michael is definitely part of quality time!
