Alek is at least four months old in these shots.  He is starting to look and act like a little boy.  He smiles and laughs a lot and rips a fart that can clear a room.

Alek can't operate a remote, but why shouldn't he have his own entertainment center?

Alek and I do some bonding every so often.  He even laughs at some of my jokes!

Alek still has an Olympic class lip.  And he has figured out how to stick his tongue out, for very long periods of time.  See it in action!

Alek has learned how to fly - With great relish. 
And yes, that long tendril of drool did land on my shirt.  He drools when he gets excited, hungry, bored, sleepy, eating, etc.  In short, he leaks all the time.  It's like having a Jaguar that you can park in the living room but can still get the stains out of the carpet.

Alek charms his Grandma again.

Alek gets his first solid food.  Some of it even went in his mouth.

Alek has gotten good at holding his bottle.  And I get to share the joy of his accomplishment.

Alek eats solid food regularly.  He has even gotten past just rice cereal.  But it's hard to know how much really reaches his stomach.

Caroline and Alek still like to take naps together.

It's now mid April.  And the holiday/birthday gift that I promised Caroline has finally arrived.  Really!  And it wasn't my fault..
Caroline had no clue what it would be, which is quite an accomplishment with Caroline.

I had a cameo made with Alek and I on it. Caroline liked it a lot, maybe even a Lot LOT!!

Lisa got a fresh Alek fix recently.

Alek had his first Easter.  Of course he has to have a silly Easter hat to go along with it.
And he got to spend time with his Grandma and the rest of the clan too.

Alek had a little trouble with the Easter egg hunt.  He couldn't get his hand around the larger eggs.  Fortunately there were some munchkin sized eggs available.  And with a little help from his Mom he got some eggs in the basket.

Alek put on a new outfit for June's birthday party.

Mike got a chance to bond with Alek again at the birthday party.

June and Nancy showed Alek how to ride the duck so that he'll know when he gets to the new pool.

Alek has mastered sitting, but still can't quite get into a sitting position from his back.
Alek has grown two teeth, which you can see here if you look at the larger picture (click on it).

Alek loves his entertainment center.  And Tet can really get him excited!

Alek visited Lisa again, and got the full treatment.  Later he played on the floor and took the occasional swipe at the cat.

Alek likes his bath a lot!  Splashing is one of his favorite bath time pleasures.

Alek at eight months old.  It was pretty hot so he dressed down a bit including that natty little outfit from the Mammoth Art & Craft Fair which he attended inutero.
