Caroline and I put together a bunch of friends to go see other friends and their compatriots dance the night away - Belly Dancing the night away that is..  It was student recital night, we just couldn't miss it.

Ceriva (stage name aka Barb) started the evening's solo performances.  And it was a terrific opener, IMHO.

After Ceriva the rest of the students started their solo performances.  I only got a few good pictures out of all the dancers that performed.  But these are good examples.

Michael figured out how to make the dancers come and visit him.  He's definitely well on his way being an upstanding member of the Guy Club.

Next there were some group dance performances.  This one seemed to have a harvest theme to it, or that was my interpretation.

And there went Michael again luring the performers over to our table.  I was so proud of him.  He's almost ready for college!

Another group performance.  And then..

Alcina took the stage and did several numbers for us.

Afterwards we sat around, finished dinner, chatted with the performers and went home with another fine evening to remember.
