Crash & Burn 2004
Home Page Next Level Up

Our annual Crash & Burn ski trip was at Whistler this year.  Whistler is located north of Vancouver, B.C.  It's the largest ski resort by skiable terrain in North America.

Unfortunately the camera doesn't come with me when I'm skiing.  It's way to delicate..  But I got some other shots worth posting.

Ross and Chantal joined us this year, as did Kari and Chuck.

Alek's appetite didn't let up for a moment, as usual.
Alek joined us for a fondue dinner and held up for quite a while.

Chuck and Kari made a terrific chili dinner for a bunch of us.  And Phil personifies the happy skier in this photo.

This is the whole crew..

The theme for this year's costume party was Pimps & Ho's.
Kari was showing some pronounced enhancements.  Lisa & Phil were a little more low key.
Mike and Nancy take this stuff very seriously..

The evening includes a whole bunch of dancing too.

The Crash & Burn theme song is Wipeout.  There are some traditional moves associated with this song.

Jody and Jolly were well turned out.  But this might be a new place to get clipped..

Leanne, Don, and Carol made a good trio.
VJ, although slightly injured, got into the spirit of the event.

I didn't have to be behind the camera all the time..

Robert does Pimp!  As do I..

Ho-Ho's!! - Only served after dark..
Conrad and Michelle walk the streets on the wild side.

There were lots of enthusiastic partyers that went all out with the theme.

Ross assures me that when he was young he had hair just like this..

We went out for a drink before the big Mexican feast at Carramba's.

Alek takes a nap before he goes out to play in the snow, in his blueberry outfit.

We spent a long time waiting for the bus to take us to the airport.  We passed the time in various ways.

Grant and Alek do the bus ride to the airport completely relaxed.

The final wait for the plane at Vancouver airport.  An uneventful flight had us home by mid evening.  Another perfect Crash & Burn ski trip comes to a close.
