Caroline became a prime number again, but  I won't say what it is - The gentleman in me forbids such disclosure. 

Mike and Nancy threw a party for Caroline at their house.  But it included some general holiday gift giving in addition to the birthday festivities.

It's rare that the three of us get into a picture together.  Given there were so many willing photographers around, we got some good results.

Everyone had to spend some time with Alek.  He continues to be very popular at any social occasion.
Melanie is one of Alek's favorites.	Nancy has a special place in her lap for Alek, and he has a special place for her in his heart.	Dave can be counted on to have some fashion accessory ready.  The combination Santa cap/Pippi Longstocking braids didn't go over too well with Alek.	Alek finds Mike very relaxing.

Brian liked that special hat a lot more than Alek.  No accounting for taste..
June made a nice toast and let everyone know how old Caroline really is - And what a shock that was for Tet!

And then there was all that gift opening.  As you can see there was a certain emphasis on one pint-sized munchkin.

I can still get Melanie to be a little silly every once in a while.

There were a bunch of holiday gifts for everyone else.  I just didn't do a very good job of getting all the pics.

We gave Dave a dancing and singing James Brown toy.  James didn't complain about the hat, and it didn't hinder his swivel hipped style either.
