We went to Park City this year.  And the big action, aside from the incredible fresh powder was that Alek started skiing.

   
Alek figured out that he could stand on his head on the condo sofa.  He got a real charge out of it for a while.

Hong and I skied together a lot.  You never go wrong chasing Hong around a mountain for a few days.  A great fellow skier.

   
Alek took his lessons at Park City.  He was taught in a group with a bunch of other kids.  

   
Alek wore a kind of harness that made it easy for the instructors to pick him up, kinda' like a six pack.

   
Alek learned how to "pizza wedge", "french fry", and stop.

   
Alek had a few instructors over the course of the week.  He seemed to really like skiing and was only put in timeout once for not being a good listener.  That's pretty good for him!


There were other kids on the trip.  Here Alek was playing with Joely and Alexa.

   
Grant came along again and is pretty grown up now.  He seems to have gotten the hang of pool and foosball.
