Easter 2002

We spent the day at Rich & Karen's place doing all the necessary Easter festivities.  But mostly it was a chance to catch up with the rest of the family which we hadn't done in a while.

It was a very sunny and relaxing day, as Eric demonstrates for us.

There was a lot of pitching in to get all the chores done.  Of course, I didn't get near the kitchen because there wasn't any call for boiling water or grilling.

Janel and Alissa (sp?) had a good time over the hors d'oeurves.
Caroline and Laura played dress up.  No really, Caroline is all dressed up here..

The adults hid eggs for the upcoming egg hunt.

Then the kids hunted for the eggs all over the back yard.

The rest of us watched the egg hunt from the deck.  And this time we had Great Grandma Nan with us.

After the hunting there is the counting and trading of candy.  This is a very important part of any egg hunt.

Everybody gets into the spirit of the day, some in more obvious ways than others.

After the egg hunt there was a water fight.  I don't remember this part of Easter, but it sure seemed fun.

Later the girls got a little crazy with the camera, and Jeff joined in for a couple of shots too.

Near the end of the day we relaxed a bit before heading home.
