Home Page Next Level Up

These are some random pictures from Ethel's Birthday in Fallbrook hosted by Paula.

Alex examines a genealogy prepared by Caroline Caroline and Alan enjoy some dinner. Ethel and Rose enjoy some dinner as well. Susie and Alex enjoy some time together.

Judy and Gail chat while Alan works on dinner. Eric and Aaron talk over a bottle, so to speak. Naoko and Kimiko, poolside. Carla and Ethel get to chat about the upcoming book.

We went to the Wild Animal Park
These were particularly pink Flamingos.
It was hot, and the  Buffalo knew it. Lots of exotic fauna wandering around the area, which we viewed from the monorail. The watering hole at the Wild Animal Park.

Bryn was particularly taken with the free range goose at the lunch spot. There is nothing better than an ice cream cone on a hot day, 'cause you get to wear it home! The Lorikeet is easily THE most colorful bird I've ever seen in real life.

Ethel and her birthday cake.  It was a terrific cake, flowers and all. What do you get the woman that has everything and wants for nothing?  Socks of course! Paula took care of all the arrangements and did a terrific job.

Ethel open presents with plenty of help from the great grandchildren. Everyone enjoys the festivities.

Alicia gives Ethel some makeover material and a full explanation on how to use them. Ethel tried to return the hair color, to all of our amusement. Alicia continues to explain all the rest of the gear and offers to visit for a personalized makeover party.

Mara wonders what to do with all this stuff. Pictures of the great grandchildren are always apprecited. Paula entertains the crew during the present opening.

Getting this crew to behave for a picture is a special challenge. Alex takes a moment to pop some shots during the posing. I even get to stand in for a picture with my cousins. More extended family gets to gather around Ethel. David, Naoko, and Kimiko.

Myron attends to the most important part of the paper. Paula shows us Pippin, who likes to pretend he's an eagle. And the big finish!  What an eagle!
