Caroline put together another one of her fine parties for me this year.  These pictures capture a few moments and a few of the people that attended.

The Chef and his lovely assistant.  Yep, we didn't cook for this one.  And the food was terrific.

Olivia took a real liking to Alek.  And she took a real liking to Dave and Larry too.  I'd say she had a really terrific time playing with all the boys.

Caroline made me a yummy birthday cake.

Larry showed Dave how to blow up a surgical glove over your head.
Dave had to try it.  It turns out that if you have too much hair it doesn't work.  Poor Dave..

I got a bunch of fun gifts.  These are a few of them.  I got a lot of really good wine, not shown.
I got a hip flask and pair of shot glasses.
I got some gourmet cooking oils.
Somehow Alek got an athletic uniform out of the deal.
But Bob got me the really cool "This is what a Cool Dad looks like" t-shirt.

Bob also got me a black shawl, or maybe it's a Talit. I'm not sure about that one.
I got a Hot set of shorts, with a matching Hot t-shirt.
And I got instructions about how to look like a Cool Dad.  I'm not sure if I ever got that one right..
