Judy & Ted 2003

Caroline had a trade show in Anaheim.  As a full fledged deadbeat husband, I went along.  Er um, I went to support my wife's career since the event started on Sunday and there is no daycare.  Right..

Jenny loved her new Karaoke machine.  Judy & Ted really love us for bringing it.  Right..  :-)

Alek, after winning a prize for the coolest Hawaiian shirt on the plane, launched into the new digs with verve and vigor.  And a lip ring, well sort of..

Teddy really liked his new truck.
Ted helped Jenny get her Karaoke machine going.  The reverb works really well!
Teddy figured out how to make his truck talk.  Ted and Judy like us even more for that!

Alek, in full Hawaiian haole style, hands me the secret ballot for who is the coolest dressed kid at the shindig.
Alek also tried to hand the ballot the to dog, but he wasn't interested.

Jenny does her Celine impersonation.

Alek was just worn out keeping up with the older kids.  There is nothing like the warm air of southern CA and a gentle swing to put him out.

Jenny showed us how to properly use the car swing.
And then Jenny showed us how to look like a proper lady.

Jenny and Teddy did a duet on the Karaoke machine.

Once again, keeping up with the other kids wore Alek to a frazzle.  He conked out again, but just for a little while..

Judy and Caroline take to the tub to slough off the troubles of the day.  It's way too warm for me to spend any time in the tub, even with these lovely tub nymphs.

Alek snagged another chick while Judy and I were wine tasting around Temecula.  This one was a little older.  He usually like 6-9 year olds.
He crawled around one of the wineries and picked up so much dirt that Caroline had to give him a thorough washing that night.

Alek was easy to take through the airport.  We tried to check him, but they said he would cost extra freight for live cargo.  So we took him on the plane anyway since it was a lightly loaded plane and could get an extra seat.  :-)
