Home Page Next Level Up

Tet and Brian got married aboard the good ship Empress Hornblower on August 24,2002.  Caroline was the Matron of Honor.  Tet and Brian were joined by some family and friends for this happy occasion, as you can see below.

There were a lot more friends and family than are shown here.  These are the pics that came out OK, 'cause I'm a really amateur photographer.

Brian and the groomsmen await her on the fantail of the Empress.

Brock was keeping some guests entertained until the show began.

First there was an exchange of Leis.

Then they gave a Lei to each parent.

Melissa was the Minister for the ceremony.

There were vows, and then there was the reading of the rules.  I forget, but I think Brian committed to taking out the garbage and feeding the dog regularly..

Rings were exchanged.

And then they were married, and there was much rejoicing.

Caroline gives a brief toast.
Doug gives a toast that gave us a glimpse of Brian's past since Doug has known Brian for 17 years.

The happy couple receive the toasts.

Some guests displayed unique talents during the party.  I captured a few here..

Tet and Brian went to each table and cut the cake, which was named for a Hawaiian island.
At the head table they even got to eat some of the cake.

Guests at the party seemed to be taken in by the warmth of the event.
DJ Mike spun discs all night.

Tet and Brian had their first dance together married.

There was much dancing.  And you never quite knew what would happen next.  Brian picked up this grass-skirted cutie and had to have the first dance with him.

Dave decided to take the Hawaiian theme to a whole new level.
And Mike quickly got into the spirit of things.
Tet needed to do a dance with Dave for the fun of it.
Lisa can't resist a fashionable chapeau.

The sites from the boat were terrific.  And some braved the cold and wind to see them since the windows were all fogged up from the dancing.

There was a Conga line.
