Tet and Brian had another birthday!  And we came along to help celebrate.  The theme included build-your-own Japanese rolls and Karaoke.  Many more people attended than appear here, but I wasn't particularly attentive with the camera..

Brian made the shrimp and veggie tempura.  Jeff and Caroline showed how to build a roll, without getting the rice stuck to all your fingers.

And then there was the Karaoke.. Mikey has spent a lot of time in Japan, and it shows.
Chantal and Caroline took to the mikes for a number.

There were many phases of kidhood present.  One invitro, Alek in the middle ground at infant, and a couple in full toddlerhood.
Of course I still can't imagine what Alek was thinking as he pawed that bridal guide.

Tet and Brian looked very pleased with yet another year of fine living behind them.  And then Tet got that gory video set..

There is always that moment for one of the female Karaoke anthems - I Will Survive.

Tet and I got to do some singing together, and yes she carried the act.

Fortunately we had a very supportive audience that erupted in the occasional bit of exuberance.

And how could a night be complete without a rousing rendition of Burning Ring Of Fire?
