We had another of our annual White Elephant parties.  It is Caroline's favorite annual event.  It starts with a brunch and then we get to open all the presents.

These are some of the lovely gifts that were chosen from the pile..

Alek and Olivia got to play a little bit.

Brian was the only person I've ever seen get an actual white elephant at a White Elephant party.  He seemed pleased.


Steve got the Turkey that was promoting eating more chicken.  It's kind of a Thanksgiving thing.  But this turkey has been though more than one White Elephant party.  Somehow I think it's not done with these parties yet.


Olivia got the real stuffed and mounted Piranha.  She didn't get to keep it, but the consolation Barbie seemed to make her happy.

   
Eric happened to be in town on a good weekend.  He picked the cow clock but didn't get to keep it.  It would have been nice if he had been able to keep it, but that clock made the rounds and Robin ended up holding it for a while too.

   
Cynthia had the good fortune to pick the Santa shorts and hat, but she didn't get to keep them.  At one point Alek decided to try them on, but they just didn't seem to fit.


Bruce got the designer monkey.  It had been hanging around a certain san Francisco apartment for something like two years, and then arrived here!  Go figure!!


Andrea got cheered on by Olivia for her gift.


Dave almost got his San Francisco "docent in a box", but it took flight back to San Francisco in other hands.


Robin got this neat book, "1000 Things To Do With A Tortilla".  I think it's mostly a cook book..


June got a "magic fingers" massager, although I have no idea where those fingers have been..


David got some drinking tools. 


Nancy got some really great videos, I'm particularly fond of the Jackie Chan boxed set!

   
Tom got the ultimate desk top pen holder, complete with a golf ball/clock thingamajiggy.  But it was not to last, so he consoled himself with the Piranha in the end.
