| The Dining Room is a spacious place with a terrific marble fireplace mantle. The fireplace doesn't work, but that OK since it's so aesthetic. The room has two large windows that look out over the courtyard that throw a lot of light into the room, when it's not so early in the morning. Jim and Mick have added a lot of decorative touches all over the apartment. It really feels like a home with lots of great visual queues. This is the wall that separates the dining room from the living room. This type of apartment is "normally" used by professional people like lawyers or accountants which would have an office. This internal door would separate the office space from the living space. You may notice a certain profusion of small Rhino looking objects on all the sills. And yes, we contributed to the herd by gifting Mick with a Rhino that we got in Ecuador made out of vegetable ivory. I bet you didn't know Ecuadorian vegetable ivory carvers were familiar with rhinos? But I digress.. |
