I've been talking about Mickey and Jim a bit since we are staying with them, and most of you don't know these people at all.  So I thought, since it's early in the AM, Caroline isn't up yet, and I've been sleeping like a baby since I'm not working..  But I digress..

Mickey and Jim are dear friends of ours that decided to try the expatriate thing in France about a year ago.  Caroline and I had always promised to take them up on their generous offer to put us up and show us France/Grenoble. 

Mickey is also the person who really made it possible for us to get married since Mickey was the wedding coordinator for that momentous event that changed the course of my personal history - A Lot!  And Jim has been a partner in crime with me for a number of activities over the years, like the Renaissance Faire and various trips.  But I digress..

So, since I was up early, and Caroline and I had been so impressed with Jim and Mick's apartment, I thought I'd try my hand at shooting the place and posting it here.  What else does one do at 6:00 AM in Grenoble? Since so many of us know these folks, and few have visited, it seemed like a good idea to try and share the digs with the crew.

Oh!, The Rhino thing..  Jim and Mick have an extreme fascination with Rhinos.  I guess it's pretty harmless, and nobody really knows how they picked this beast for such a strong attachment, but that's the way it is.  So, you'll see a lot of decorative Rhinos around the place, and if you ever want to get Mick a gift, well, if it's got a Rhino on it - You're safe.  And if you want to entice them to visit you, dangle a trip to the zoo with a well stocked herd of Rhinos and they are likely to drop in.  But I digress..
