The guest bedroom was where we stayed.  And, as you can see, Caroline is demonstrating what a jet-lagged person looks like in Grenoble.  

The rest of the room includes another great fireplace mantle, another great window (not shown here), and a built in set of bookshelves.  This is Jim's office when it's not full of guests.
