The living room is filled with the usual items like the TV, stereo, a small couch and two really terrific windows looking out over the back courtyard.

The entryway from the hall is the wall with the rhino collection on the sills.  The floor is a terrific glossy finished wide wood that creaks comfortably whenever you walk on it.  Across the room is the entertainment gear and the fireplace.

The two windows fill the room with light, when it's not way freakin' early in the AM that is.  And the ceiling and moldings all have fleur de lys and detail flourishes.

The fireplace itself is the most ornate one in the apartment.  Jim and Mick have loaded it with a collection of things that make it feel like home.  Not least of which is a small herd of rhinos guarding the parents picture.  And, the picture from a recent trip to an African rhino breeding facility.
